everybody gets hurt. sometimes a big hurt, sometimes a little hurt. but
the person who's suffered a lot isn't especially strong. and the person
who's been hurt a little isn't especially weak. what's important is
being able to get over it.
when someone cries so
hard that it hurts their throat, it is out of
frustration or knowing that no matter what you can do or attempt to do
can change the situation. when you feel like you need to cry, when you
want to just get it out, relieve some of the pressure from the
inside, that is true pain. because no matter how hard you try or how bad
you
want to, you can't. That pain just stays in place. then, if you are
lucky, one small tear may escape from those eyes that water constantly.
that one tear, that tiny, salty, droplet of moisture is a means of
escape. Although it's just a small tear, it is the heaviest thing in the
world. And it doesn't do a damn thing to fix anything
life is painful and messed up. it gets complicated at the worst of times,
and sometimes you have no idea where to go or what to do. Lots of times
people just let themselves get lost, dropping into a wide open, huge
abyss. but that's why we have to keep trying. we have to push through
all that hurts us, work past all our memories that are haunting us.
Sometimes the things that hurt us are the things that make us strongest. a life without experience, in my opinion, is no life at all. and that's
why I tell everyone that, even when it hurts, never stop yourself from
living
Pain is the feeling. Suffering is the effect the pain inflicts. If one
can endure pain, one can live without suffering. If one can withstand
pain, one can withstand anything. If one can learn to control pain, one
can learn to control oneself
If you spend your time hoping someone will suffer the consequences for
what they did to your heart, then your allowing them to hurt you a
second time in your mind
